I’m Stormie, the photographer behind Shadow & Light Portraits, and I’ve been photographing people and stories since 2012. I’m a Texas native, born and raised in Abilene, TX, and my work has always been drawn to light, emotion, and moments that feel honest rather than posed.

Outside of photography, I’m a mom to three boys, married, and usually surrounded by a dog, a cat, and a strong cup of coffee. I love horror movies and Halloween, and that appreciation for mood, atmosphere, and storytelling often finds its way into the cinematic feel of my work.

Whether I’m working with a senior celebrating a huge milestone or creating artistic portraits for creatives and brands, I care deeply about making the experience comfortable, meaningful, and memorable for both seniors and their families.
